Arnold Newman, one of the most influential portrait photographers, and one of Brad’s former mentors, has passed away at the age of 88. Arnold has been credited with the introduction of the environmental portrait and is perhaps best known for his images of Pablo Picasso, Igor Stravinsky, and many, many presidents. He passed away on June 6 of a heart attack at Mt. Sinai Hospital in New York and is survived by his wife, Augustus, two sons David and Eric, and four grandchildren.
